Tips for Success:
Always try to type your application. Try to open with Google docs or an extension like dochub or PDFMergy, if necessary.
Consider creating a cover letter to introduce yourself (and consider adding a photo so the committee can put a face to your name).
Consider including a full high school resume, even if the scholarship doesn’t require one.

New - Kansas Promise Scholarship
Full tuition and fees for students entering fields of physical or mental health care, advanced manufacturing or building trades, early childhood or elementary education, and information technology at a Community College or Technical School. Colleges also get to choose one additional field of their choosing.
Kansas Buffalo Association/GoBob Scholarship – Due mid Oct (raising bison and/or pursuing ag field)
Horatio Alger Scholarship – Opens Aug 1; Due late Oct (2.0 min GPA, demonstrate financial need – $55,000 adjusted gross family income, pursue a bachelor’s degree)
Heisman Scholarship - student-athletes involved in the school and community with 3.0+ GPA
Hagan Scholarship - (3.5 GPA, 23+ ACT, work 240 hours/year, complete FAFSA, show financial need – EFC of less than $6500)
